Green Plastics

Bio plastics are being produced and developed from biomass sources, meaning vegetable oil, corn starch, etc. Those kinds of plastic can be melted down and renewed, for further use. These kinds of plastic are "green" because they are not harming our planet, nor being a part of cause of global warming. These plastics can be used again and again. In that video, there were a few types of reactions mentioned: Condenstation reaction, Addition reaction, and Polymerization.

  1. I agree with what you said about this kind of plastic being "green" but only to a certain extent. The final product is eco friendly but the process is most certainly not. The process of growing the crops involves many gases and pollutants that are bad for the environment. I think you should expand on your view a little more.
